Devlin: Moving Documentary Part II

Somehow missed part I, but this documentary from Dagenham's finest Devlin is really interesting.

The docu looks at the intricately lyrical Dev and Wretch preparing for their recent collaboration, Off With Their Heads. It's really interesting to see how the song came together, and also to hear what inspires Devlin and Wretch to be the best.

Devlin is an incredible MC and this short shows why and how.

Pusha T Ft. Popcaan & Travis Scott: Blocka

Apparently doing a 'Snoop Lion', Pusha T has also been in Jamaica recenlty and appears to be ready a JA influenced album.

Featuring man of the minute Popcaaaaaan, this is rather dark, mean and lean.

A$AP Rocky: Behind The Scenes

The self-pronounced pretty Harlemite delivers a look behind the lens of his Kendrick, 2 Chainz and Drake assisted Problem video. Looks like a lot of lolz were had.

What a lovely man A$AP seems. We're looking forward to interviewing him in the very near future...!

His debut album proper drops in January.

Modestep: Paradise

Our favourite brosteppers have decided to record a copy of Coldplay's Paradise, and they've even shot a video for it too. Brilliant!

It's not what you might expect from the bass junkies. Not what you'd expect at all.

BenZel: Falling Love

Spotted over on Punchbowl blog, was this sumptous little number.

According to Punchbowl, BenZel is two Japanese teenagers - Umi Takahashi, 15 and Yoko Watanabe, 16 -  and they're the two guys behind Jessie Ware's amazing Brownstone cover, which we featured recently. The two are from Osaka, met online and headed together to New York on an exchange program.

Love this tune, can't wait to hear more from these two kids. Check them out here on Soundcloud.

Katy B x Wiley x Zinc: Got Paid

Taken from her recently released free EP, here's some visuals for the ace Get Paid.

One for that 'last Friday of the month' feeling!

Game Ft. Kendrick & Scarface: Murder

Three MC's who share a gravelly, smoky, 'just spent an hour fully clothed in a sauna gargling courvoisier' vocal, team up on this slow and thoughtful tune taken from Jayceon Taylor's Sunday Service series.

Jammer Talks LOTM4

The amazing Murkle Man breaks down Lord of the Mics:4 to RWD, which drops today.

Featuring numerous MC's going head to head, bar to bar, LOTM4 features Lady Shocker, Lady Killa as well as Koder and Discarda, M.I.K, Drifter and more.

Jammer also talks Boy Better Know and his favourtie Twitter bants of 2012 (including Rita Ora and Snakeyman).

No Doubt Fred Perry

Gwen (and the others) have teamed up with Fred Perry on a collection due for release next year.

Known for their successful collabs with musicians - Amy Winehouse being one - no doubt these will fly off the shelves.

Featuring the Californian band's Jamaica inspired three-stripe, the line, which features jackets, jumpers and polo's, is available to pre-order from Fred Perry.

Emeli Sande: Clown

The latest single to be taken frmo the Scottish singer's multi-platinum album, and the highest selling UK album of 2012, no less!

This one is one of our favourites from Our Version Of Events and we're loving this '40s interrogation style video too.

Here's what Emeli told us about Clown a year or so ago before all of the huge fame and acclaim that was to come her way in 2012.

"I wrote that on the piano when I was addicted to strings with Sha (Naughty Boy)! It's about not allowing yourself to be taken for a mug. I wrote it quite a while ago when I was trying to get signed and literally no-one was interested… Doing the rounds of labels, I just didn’t like it. I just thought, I’d rather be a bit more in control than this. It was hard at the time because it was so tempting. But I was doing my exams at school, then I got accepted into medicine at Glasgow Uni. It would have been too much of a risk to say no to medicine then go down to London and just be another singer. I was going for all these meetings and people were looking at me like ‘What do we do with you’? It's about not allowing yourself to be taken for an idiot."

Syron: Waterproof

Produced by Huxley, this house-y number from Syron is a bit perfect for 5.30pm on a Friday evening.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!

Somewhere To: Trin3rgy x Adam Deacon

Following a nationwide competition  10 dance crews from around the UK won a chance to perform at the Olympics this year.

The overall winners Trin3rgy, were taken to Rio in Ocotber with Anuvahood's Adam Deacon to create a short film featuring their award-winning dance movies. With music from Preditah, here's a short film  written and directed by Adam Deacon, starring the guys and actor Jason Maza.

Makes us want to pack a suitcase and head for that Summer Sun.

Put together by Somewhere To, a Cultural Olympiad project to help 16 - 25 year olds find the space to do the things they love. Great cause!

Katy B: Danger EP

She's clearly still on a Mission, as this free new EP from Katy B proves.

Featuring collaborations with Geeneus, Jessie Ware, Wiley, Diplo, Iggy Azalea, Zinc and Jacques Greene. There's the brilliant;y titled Aaliyah and a great collab with Wiley called Get Paid in which Wiley calls himself William. Amazing.

Get your copy right now from here.

BMW M3 DTM Champion

This limited edition Beemer is super smart.

Featuring a frozen black metallic hood with M stripes branding, carbon fiber roof and lid plus built-in heated seats and navigation, this is the kind of ride we imagine ourselves popping up the shops in.

Just 54 have been made, and with prices starting at $130,000, prospective purchasers might want to get in line now for the release next year.

Tyga: Clique Freestyle

The Young Money affiliate drops his version of Clique and A$AP's Problem while stunting at his Versace hotel and his boat etc etc.

Look How Lovely Ed Sheeran Is

So, 1D had a show and afterwards they had a party with kareoke and everything.

Anyway, that's not the interesting bit. What's great is this video of them, their girlfriend's, Taylor Swift etc arriving.

Just look at what they say to the papps (basically nothing) and then look at what Ed says.

Seriously, that boy is just lovely.

Givency Hoodie

Beloved by the likes of Professor Green, Riccardo Tisci's gothic take on this season's designs are proving to be very popular.

The latest is this Shark hoodie, with it's open jawed bad self.

If you have a spare $1200 dollars, then head right here, right now and buy,

Daley: Remember Me Acoustic

RWD Mag caught up with the inimitable Daley for an acoustic rendition of his Jessie J collabo, available to buy tomorrow.

The EP comes with an amazing MJ Cole remix.

Go get that.

The New Wave Of Barbershops: LA

There's nothing like a great haircut.

This short by YouTube channel Thrashlab takes us into the barber shops of LA where trimming beards is considered an art.

Love the way this is shot. If only we had a beard, we'd head over to Beard and Moustache Enthusiasts right now, airfare be damned.

Albums To Get This Week

Whether you're skint or have some ready cash, there's three albums you might want to grab this week.

For those with money, then you have to get Skepta's Blacklisted. We've just downloaded ours from iTunes and it's worth every penny of the £6.99. Mastermind and Badman In Tivoli are among our faves.

Next up is Amplify Dot's free mixtape, Spare Parts. Listen here or download by liking her Facebook page.

Last but by no means least is Brummie MC RoxXxann. Prepare For When I Land follows Guerilla and features hard bars from the puff puff pass daggering rhymer.

Get your copy for free from here.

Jay-Z: Where I'm From

Shot for his own Life + Times site, this 25 minute documentary takes an intimate look backstage at Hov's recent Barclays Centre shows.

The film stakes us from the building of the arena to rehearsals of the gigs to backstage on show night.

Turn Up Your Noise

Would you like to 'Turn Up Your Noise'? You would? Yes? Good.

Casio are currently touring the UK and inviting music students, aspiring producers and lovers of le synth to join them aboard the infamous open-top Routemaster, which is kitted out with the latest range of XW synths.

On board the bus, expect live demonstrations from Oak, who has played with N-Dubz, Delilah and Tinchy. The expert keysman will be on hand to show and prove as well as offer advice.

Having visited Glasgow, Bristol and Birmingham already, the bus heads to London this Friday. To find out where the bus will be, click right here.

Not only that, but Casio are giving away a synth for absolutely free. All you have to do is visit the bus, take a picture and tweet @Casio_Music #synthtour.

Turn Up Your Noise

Bryant Dope: Champion Sound

Love this video from Mr. Dope. You might have heard him on New World Order with Joey Bada$$ earlier this year, and you may also have heard this tune already. If so, aren't you clever! Well done all.

Sampling Smif N Wessun and produced by Hannibal King, we now have a video, directed by Adam 'PDA' Ross.

Watch out for the mixtape New New York, due in 2013. It seems like, as the mixtape name suggests, Dope is part of a new generation from the big apple (alongside Bada$$)who are keen to pay homage to the old sounds of the city. Namely 90s hip hop. But can these newbies match up? Only time will tell.

Follow Bryant.

A$AP Ft. Drake, 2 Chainz & Kendrick: Problems

Two Chizzles delivers the hook, Drizzy drops the lolz, Kendrick gives food for thought while A$AP is the manwith swagu.

Long.Live.A$AP, the album, is out in January. We are very much looking forward to hearing that. Oh yes.

Beyonce Docu Preview

Airing in February on HBO and directed by Mrs Carter herself, this indeed looks 'raw, real, revealed'. Or something.

Potentially a look far beyond the glare of the papps, and with lots of private time while pregnant and intimate moments with Hova, we are very, very, very excited about seeing this.

Very.

Delorean Yellow Cab

This is the way we'd like to travel around New York.

Artist Mike Lubrano came up with the concept of this Delorean with a yellow cab twist.

Not sure if this will ever be on the market, but we'd like one please.

Christian Blaizer Ft. Redman, K Koke...: All I Want

Very said to hear about the death of Christian Blaizer who I met a few years ago when I worked at Touch Magazine.

Christian sadly died last year of cancer, and in memory of his passing, his friend and producer Paul 'Blue Rain' Yomi has put together a track that Christian cut with Eric Sermon, Redman, Metis and K Koke. Yomi is also working on releasing Christian's album, The Oath.

The song is out on 12 December and all proceeds go to the ACLT, a charity dedicated to finding blood and bone marrow for black and ethnic minority patients in the UK.

The single is available now, free to download, with suggested donations. Please donate and help the money go to a good cause. You can also donate blood and bone marrow to the ACLT. People really rely on donations to, quite literally, save lives.

The Oath is out on 12 December.

You can donate also to Christian's Justgiving page, here.

Mike Delinquent Ft. KCAT and Mikill Pane: Mama Said

Love this most lively tune. KCAT takes care of the vocals, Mikill the rhymes and Mike the bubbly bubbly beat.

This feel like '95 and 2013 all at the same time.

The track drops 3 February.

Givency x iPhone

Dogs are doing big business for Givency this year. But if you can quite manage to stretch to the t'shirt prices, then upgrade your phone case at least with this most angry Rottweiler iPhone holder.

Available from here for a mere $180.

Adult Swim x Casio

The Cartoon Network's widely popular Adult Swim has joined up with Casio to collaborate on the DW-6900.

Utilising Metalocalypse, a flash-animated series based around the fictitious world famous death metal band, Dethklok, the watch is only available in North America so far.

Booooo!

Lets hope we will see this on these shores soon enough (try saying that sentence after a mulled wine...!)

Charli XCX Ft. Brooke Candy: Cloud Aura

We're big fans of Charli XCX here. We also love the super-rude Brooke Candy, stripper turned rapper, who is featured in this month's i-D mag.

Hope that 2013 is a great year for Charli, who has been making music for the last five or so years.

"Cloud Aura was the lead track from my mixtape Super Ultra. It's a really special track for me because I guess it's my first proper collaboration. I asked Brooke to get on the track 'cause I could hear her voice on it sounding awesome. And she slayed it. She's such a talent and a superstar. She's fierce and part of this new wave of strong females standing up for what they believe in, and I'm so into that. I made the video with Brooke and Ryan Andrews. I wanted to make the video super fantastical and emotional, so I used clips from my favourite films like Carrie and TV shows like The Hills(!). It's a mix of all my favourite things. It's the internet meets LA, meets London. All the places my mind lives in and all the place I want to be."

Amplify Dot: Get Down

Mentioned this the other day, and now here's the fantastic visuals for Amplify Dot's new track, Get Down.

Go on then, Get Down!

Angel: Time After Time

Gorgeous acoustic version of Angel's Time After Time. You gotta see why he's called Angel. That voice! Damn!

Pharrell: Artist Talk

Really interesting talk with Pharrell and artists KAWS and David Salle about how where they came from inspired their work, the people they've worked with and finding your own style.

KAWS is one of hte world's leading street artists, while Salle, 'redefined neo-expressinism'.

LOVE the watch Skateboard P!

Also, the hair. Yeah.

G-Shock X Steve Williams

Launching in Japan this November is the DJK X Casio G-Shock 7JR G-8900DJK.

This  translucent number marks the second collaboration between Steve Williams's street/skate crew and G-Shock.

As well as being water resistant and boasting multiple time and alarm displays, we love the purple detailing and powerful backlight.

It's Christmas, what better gift to give than a G-Shock!

One To Watch: Rainy Milo

Love this song, love the vocal, love the production, love Rainy's name.

You can download the South Londoner's free mixtape, Limey, from here.

Hangout With Azealia Banks for ASOS

Had a lovely chat with the fabulous Azealia Banks on Google Hangout today. We talked about ASOS, clothes, Karl Largerfeld, Kanye and being 'ratchet'. Obvs.

It's lengthy, but check out if you get chance.

(I tried to get my G-Shock in shot but not sure it made it onscreen as my bottom half was a bit hidden).

(Also, that guitar was honestly not strategically placed! And, no, I'm not very good on it).

Mellowhype: Break

Hodgy and Left Brain drop a new tune. At 1.41 minutes long, it's short but it is sweet. If anyone in Odd Future can ever be described as 'sweet'.

Jeremy Scott Smart Car

The one and only Jeremy Scott is a man with mega wings.

Not only does he stick them on the back of adidas, but he's only gone and put them on this new smart ForTwo Electric car.

Amazingness.

Imagine rolling round in the whip in Shoreditch. Ah yeah!

The Smart ForJeremy car launches next year. Expect it to be super limited edition.

Lady Chann: Feel Calm

Based around Gyptian's Hold Yuh riddim, the UK's own Lady Chann drops some deep bars based on her own life story on this version.

Download Toddla T's remix for free from here.

Rudimental Ft. Angel Haze: Hell Could Freeze

Absolutely love the sample used by the Rudi boys as Haze drops heat on this ice cold track.

Available to download for free from here.

The Weeknd: Wicked Games (Jools Holland)

We had tix to his secret show in West London but the flu did for us. Damn you stupid flu!

Great to see the Canadian get some mainstream love on the huge Jools platform. Should sell him a few more Trilogy's.

T.I. Ft. Andre 3000: Sorry

The fellow Atlantans join up on this syrupy low number. Like how Tip takes on board an Andre-ish flow, in an attempt to not be outshone by the man who always steals the show.

But then Andre switches up his flow and it's kinda game over once more.

Oh Andre. When will someone put out an album of all your greatest guest spots? Maybe we should just create our own. It might even stretch to a double disc.

Amplify Dot: Get Down

Live from the 'banter bus', A-Dot finally releases some new music after a lengthy silence. She hasn't been sat around catching jokes on Twitter though, oh no.

Now signed to EMI records, Dotty has been busy recording her major label debut. As she explains to Mistajam in the above interview, there are a number of leftover tracks, including Get Down, that will be making their way onto a mixtape, released next week.

As an idea of what to expect from the London MC, check the above and follow A Dot on Twitter.

Etta Bond: ThisD

Produced by the fantastic Fred Cox, the woman signed to Labrinth's Odd Child label proves herself to be as individual as her label boss.

With Labrinth as her overseer and a hit song with Wretch 32 (Forgiveness) under her DM’s, 2013 is shaping up rather sweetly for Cambridge born, London based Henrietta Bond, 22, who also works with DaVinChi and Raf Riley.

Boasting a voice that is basically brilliant, songs (Ask Me To Stay, Come Over) that sort of stab you through the heart (in a nice way) and a label deal with Odd Child/ Syco, the former Shoreditch House cloakcheck girl lists Frank Ocean as her dream collaborator and Janelle Monáe as her ultimate style icon.

“Everything is ‘left’, which goes with the whole Odd Child ethos. Just to think outside the box. I know a lot of people say that, but I honestly think that a lot of the things we do are very ‘left’," she toldus earlier this year. "It's all about keeping it left!”

TED X Rodney Mullen

Even if you're not into skateboarding, this talk by street boarder Rodney Mullen at TED is so impassioned and full of joy about his art, that you really need to watch it.

Got to love someone that's not only brilliant at what they do, but is still so clearly in love with it.

Oh Snap

Love love love these playing cards.

Featuring everyone from Amy Winehouse, to Kanye, Karl Lagerfeld, the Beatles, Jay-Z, Gaga and Anna Wintour, this is poker with a difference.

The only annoying about these cards is trying to buy these is a bit of a challenge. A collaboration between Chambre Sept and Dal Negro, if anyone can work out where to buy these, do let us know.

Haim: Don't Save Me

This sisterly trio will be sure to be topping lots of 'New for 2013' type polls this year. Inspired by everyone from En Vogue to Fleetwood Mac, critics are loving their firebrand sound of folksy R&B. Their mum and dad used to be in the group, but the sisters ditched the pezza's and success has since flown their way.

Look forward to hearing more from this LA band.

Chip Ft. Wretch, Pro Green & Loick: Londoner

The Tottenham rhyme-slinger enlists Wretch and the Professor on this dedication to all things capital city based.

Watch out for Chip's mixtape, London Boy, dropping on 24th December.

Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Chip today!

Friday, November 23, 2012

Queen Of Hearts: Warrior

The fabulously regal Queen of Hearts is about to release another single.

This little number is out 2 December and is really quite ridiculously catchy. If we could sing (we can't) we'd be singing this aloud all day.

Produced by Diamond Cut we will be buying this tasty little number in one week's time. Oh yes we will.

Follow QOH.

Saskilla x Jamkay: Bump

In praise of the legandary south London night, Saskilla and Jamkay channel their inner Frank Ocean/ The Weeknd on this spacey number.

Warm Bodies: Trailer

As far as film ideas go, this one if really quite out there. We mean, realllly out there.

Zombie-boy Nicholas 'Skins' Hoult is living his regular zombie life; eating living things, wondering around with droopy long arms and basically dealing with the mundanity of being a zombie. Until he falls for Amanda Palmer, the girlfriend of one of his victims.

Cue zombies being cured by love, zombies and humans teaming up against the baddies and, more importantly, more than a couple of lolz.

It's out there, but we like out there. We like it a lot.

Maison Martin Margiela Japan

With MMG x H&M causing blockbusting queues, the label hasn't forgotten its core audience.

These bright blue shiny new sneaks are exclusive to Japan so you might want to head to Tokyo to cop your £500-ish pair.

Give Your Lappy A Woody

Bored of the regular black/ brushed aluminium keys on your Mac Book Pro?

Stick these keyboard add-on's to your Mac and make everything feel all warm and cosy inside.

They come in either Walnut or Cherry and are available for $40 to $45 from here.

John Newman: Not Giving In (Acoustic)

Hello John Newman. What a voice you have, Sir.

Blimey.

Mr. Newman performs this vocal from the Rudimental produced, Alex Clare featuring single Not Giving In, released this weekend.

Looks like this will be their second No.1 this year.

Get to know Mr Newman a bit better by downloading his track Stay The Night from here.

Alexander McQueen Bomber

Well, yes please, we'd like a bit of you.

Hello, Alexander McQueen's new leather and suede bomber. You're a bit gorgeous, aren't you?

This jet black number was crafted in Italy using the finest materials, which goes some way to explaining its £2,230 price tag. Eek.

We still would though.

Get yours from Mr. Porter.

Maxsta: Some More

The Sony signed spitter delivers some forceful bars over the taught eski style beat from Preditah.

Grimy!

Follow Maxsta.

Ed Sheeran: Give Me Love

Loving the live version fotr the video of Ed's Give Me Love.

This is the last single to be released from his 5 X PLATINUM debut +.

Whatta guy.

Love this song, it's one of our faves from the album

Scrufizzer: Rap Rave

Sure to be making plently of the 2013 lists, Scru's MOS signed single gets a well deserved video. As bonkers and colouful of the Paperbwoy produced tune itself, Rap Rave is out in January.

Follow Scru

Symphony Hall Ft. Jay Norton: One Night Stand

Featured on i-D's monthlymixtape and causing a stir across the internets, this new tune from Symphony Hall (AKA Riton and Canblaster) and Ft. Jay Norton is our tune of the month.

The synth led slow-jam is accompanied bya frankly banana's video of people's eyes superimposed onto other's faces.

Love the creativeness of this - from the tune itself to the visuals.

BAPE x Joey Bada$$ Party

And what a night it was. Packed to the very rafters (literally, some people were pretty much up on the ceiling), Mark Ronson, a Klaxon, 'er from the Kills, Amir Amor and Cassette Playa crowded into Dalston's Alibi to check out the 18 year-old up and comer perform tracks from his critically lauded 1999 mixtape. With yOyO providing the pre and post set sounds, it was a sweeeet way to celebrate BAPE London's 10th birthday.

Big up BAPE for the beautiful free bar too. Jim Beem, Tiger and Magners made our heads a little sore the next day, but it was more than worth it.

End Of Watch Clip

Not only a very lovely timepiece is being ported in this new Jake Gyllenhall film, but it looks like a real edge of seat thriller.

Jake stars alongside Michael Pena in this tale of two LAPD cops getting involved in the wrong investigation.

Benga: Hitman

To coincide with the launch of the Trapstar/ Hitman collabo, Benga has produced this little beauty. Not only is the music super-menacing, the underwater video is also a bit brilliant.

Download for absolutely free from here.

Benga

One Sound Risen: Red Bull Culture Clash

We can't overstate how great this night was.

4 sounds, 4 stages, everything to fight '4'!

Diplo bought out Usher and Rita Ora, BBK bought out Lethal B (and also plot-spoiled Mazer Lazer and Usher by playing Climax), Channel 1 had Luciano while Annie Mac bought out half of the UK with Example, Ms. Dynamite, Maverick Sabre, Rudimental, Magnetic Man and so on.

This video sets up the evening, explaining the how's and why's and catch up with the confident competitors to see who will reign champion!

Manga Ft. Wiley & Lily Mckenzie: Time

Our favorite bespectacled Roll Deep rhymer links with Eski Boy and Lily for a this house-based rap number.

Deniro x Shady Blaze: All I Know (Prod.Lunice)

Lunice is rising in the ranks of our favourite producers right now...

G-Shock x X-Girl x XLarge

Not a two way but a three-way collaboraton, G-Shock has teamed with streetwear brands XLarge and Kim Gordan's X-Girl for this latest piece of chunky goodness. Love the logo in the backlight guys.

Oz The Great And Powerful: Trailer

Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff and James Franco join director Sam Raimi for this prequel to the much loved Wizard of Oz. Taking us back to the Wizard's arrival in Oz (also via cyclone from Kansas), Franco is expected to take on the evil Queen and bring peace to Oz.

So, basically the Wizard of Oz then, minus the ruby slipper, Toto and a scarecrow? Hmm.com.

Oz is released March 2013.

Angle Haze Ft. Lunice: Gimme Dat

Said to be the first single taken from Haze's official debut album, Gimme Dat sees the New York based rapper join up with TNGHT's Lunice for a rapid-paced, sub-bass based banger.

Around 40 seconds in the flow goes nuts.

Dirty Gold is due out May 2013.

Gaga: Cake (Preview)

Firstly NSFW!!

Secondly, WTF? Reliably saucy visuals from Terry 'Take Em Off' Richardson, there's all sorts of shenagagans afoot in this 15 second clip.

Thirdly, is Gaga about to become MC Gagalolz? Cake seems to be flirting with an experimental new sound for the Born This Way singer - she even as A$AP-esqe monster effects. Plus she spits a bar! "Ask my man Hedi at Yves about Emi, ask anybody I'm rich homie I got plenty."

We're off for a lie-down. It's all a bit much.

Big Boi: Hot 97 Interview

Interesting talk with Big Boi about puffy directing Players Ball Anthem, a young Usher hanging out in the Dungeon Family, and the some what turbulent friendship that has endured over the years of Outkast.

Nicki Minaj: Freedom (BTS)

In which Nicki can't walk by all accounts.

It's hard being a pop star.

Wiz Khalifa Ft. The Weeknd: Remember You

Amber's boyf hooks up with the reclusive Canadian for a reliably spaced out track accompanied by a homoerotic, vampiric video.

Daley Ft. Misha B: 1Xtra Live

Misha steps into Jessie's shoes temporarily and, wow, Misha can SANG!

That VOICE.

Amazing.

Joey Badda$$: Waves

There's some really great wordplay on display from the 17 year-old here. Nice choice of watch in the Va$htie video too.

Waves is taken from his critically acclaimed 1999 mixtape.

Joey is playing at XOYO tonight and judging by last night's performance at Alibi for BAPE, it'll be a ram-packed one.

Angel & Haze & Lunice: Gimme Dat

A trip into Metropolis studios to watch Lunice and Haze create a track from scratch.

Reebok: Time Lapse

A trip down the Reebok memory lane with the Global Creative Director himself, Swizz Beatz.

George Frost 2012

Spotted on Hypebeast, this new unisex line from Lulu Frost called George Frost.

Mikill Pane: Dirty Rider

Known for his incredible verses on Ed Sheeran's original A-Team (then known as Little Lady), Mikill Pane has since toured with the ginger wonder, as well as Rizzle Kicks, before signing himself a deal with Mercury Records. Working with the same producer as Ed - Jake Gosling - the lyrically dexterous Mr Pane has just dropped an EP ahead of his major label debut next year.

Mr. BAPE Camo Coat

Be smart and street savvy this winter with Mr. BAPE's 2012 F/W tiger stripe camo.

Earl Sweatshirt: Chum

"Too white for the black kids, too black for the white..."

The youngest member of OF dissectes his life including an absent father, which led him into the hands of Tyler, The Creator, before being sent to an at-risk youth centre in Samoa.

Sure.

Azealia Banks: Atlantic

The Mermaid's latest release.

Very M.I.A.

Ed Sheeran: Give Me Love

One of the highlights of the + album. Love the way this track builds to one big, fat crescendo with Ed's flipping gorgeous vocal slicing through the mad emo drums.

Co-starring Isabel Lucas, the single is out 26 November.

Mic Righteous: Hold It Down

In which an elephant tries to take some peanuts from Tescos, board the tube and eats some Nando's.

Filmed by SBTV, there's a nice little cameo to be found too.

Gaga x Kendrick: Demo Leak

We say 'leak' but actually Gagz herself posted this online earlier today.

Due to 'pollatix' the pair weren't able to use the original version with Gaga's lyrics on the finished album. Which is a real shame, because it does sound great. That said, the album feels so pure that maybe the inclusion of a global pop star might have changed the meanign of it. For such a rich, provocative, intensley personal album, it's perhaps best that her Popness's versoin was left off.

We'd really like to hear these two work together again though please. Great combo.

Hitman X Trapstar

Rihanna's favourite streetwear label has teamed with the people behind the movie Hitman for a much in-demand collaboration.

It's not out until the 20th of November but it's already been spotted on the likes of Riri, Benga, Jamal Edwards and half of the UK rap scene.

The film above shows the line in all of its underwater glory.

We'd like the jumper please! ;-)

Cop yours from the 20th from Trapstar.

The Internet: Give It Time

OFWGKTA's Syd The Kid and Matt Martian (AKA The Internet) are set to release the Feel Good EP in December.

If you want to know what to expect, simply press play above. As far from the angsty punk of Odd Future, Give It Time is smooth, laidback, sensual and remarkably calm.

Look forward to hearing the EP in full next month.

Givenchy High Top Hotness

Yeah, go on, we'll rock a pair of these.

Ricardo Tisci gives it all leather adorned with 3D gold stars on this sexy pair of High's. Love the alternate white/ black/ white stitching on the sole too.

Get yours from Mr Porter for £400.

Josh Kumra: Waiting For You

You might remember Josh from Wretch 32's Let Go.

Now readying his solo career, Kumra kicks off with this drum pounding track produced by Fink who delivers beautifully on a soul/ gospel flex.

Follow Josh.

Jessie Ware: If You Love Me

Covering the almighty Brownstone, this is how you take on a 90s classic.

This version by Ms. Ware actually gives us the biggest smile ever. Love the unexpected vocal arrangements, the choir and the instrumentation by BenZel. Incredible to not only rival a classic but perhaps, dare we say, improve upon it.

If you haven't already, just go get Jessie's album. Visuals by Kate Moross.

Listen To Pharrell

A man with a moustache like that obviously knows what he's talking about...

Angel Haze: Gossip Folks

Taking on Missy's classic, Haze drops a video to the song all about that chitter-chatter malarky. Arnaud Muller. "Once upon in Deeeee-Troit..."

Hunger TV: Tinie Tempah

I recently interviewed the inimatiable, the incredible, the wonderful (etc etc) Tinie Tempah for Hunger TV.

Here's part of the result of that chat. To read the rest and see the results of the Rankin shoot, cop the new issue of Hunger out now.

Time With: Mr Ibe

When Mr Ibe created the G-Shock 30 years ago, we can only assume he had no idea how huge, and what a key part of popular culture, he had invented. Worn by everyone from Eminem to Kanye, Tinie Tempah (who shouted it out in 'Pass Out') to Justin Bieber, we caught up with Mr Ibe to find out some more about the past, and next, 30 years of G-Shock...

Great inventions usually come from personal experience. What inspired you to want to make the toughest watch of all time?
My father bought me a watch and I had it for quite a long time. But then it fell from my wrist, and it broke. So I wanted something that was rough and tough that couldn't be broken. I saw a girl in the park, bouncing a rubber ball, and it gave me the idea to create something that would not break easily. So that was my first inspiration.

The brand evolves all the time. What continues to inspire you in terms of design and technological innovation?
My motivation is trying to put new technology into a fashionable watch together, and at the same time try to over-achieve in terms of the audience's expectation. That is the motivation to create new technology, new toughness, new fashionable watches.

How do you feel about the global success of G-Shock; from Japan to the UK and beyond?
The first thing is that it's an honour, to have a product that is be understood from Japan to around the globe. I'm also happy and honoured to work with media who help me communicate and spread to the audience what I've done and what we're continuing to do.

What is the secret to G-Shock's 30 years of success?
My key concept is continuing new technology and new fashions. Merging them together is the key to continuing.

The ethos of G-Shock is "Never Give Up". When was the last time you faced the impossible and how did you overcome that?
The first and last toughest challenge was creating the G-Shock. I wanted to give up so many times, but I didn't. So the point of that is, if you don't give up, you can achieve something. So never give up.

Of all you've achieved with G-Shock, what are you most proud of?
30 years ago, the Casio watch wasn't for young people. Then you had the G-Shock which was very much fit for young people. So making the digital watches available for a wider audience was a challenge, and something I'm proud we have achieved.

Which is your personal favourite G-Shock?
The first one! The DW-5000C, the first shock-resistant watch. We did 200 prototypes before we created a watch that could withstand a drop from the top of a very tall building.

What have been some of the toughest challenges you've faced in your own life?
In Japan, there's a TV programme that put the G-Shock under a test. They used a steam-roller and that was tough - was the watch tough enough? Not even a steam-roller could break it. It's still working now (laughs).

What special detail would you like to add to the watch to make your life easier?
A translator (laughs). I'd like a watch that could take what you say with a mic and earphone, link it to my watch, and then translate the data for me. Sometimes I struggle to communicate with other people within G-Shock, so if I had that, I'd be able to communicate more widely with people all over the world.

What are your hopes for the next 30, 90 etc., years. How do you see the brand developing?
With many phones having clocks, like the iPhone, the Blackberry, other devices, some people no longer wear watches. I want to create something that can link a smartphone, with things like a translator, to the watch to make life easier and smoother with new features.

If anyone can do it, Mr. Ibe can!
Thank you very much

M.O: Wait Your Turn

Frankee, Nadine and Annie. A new 3-piece girl group from London.

We heard them on Mistajam last night with the track above and we're newly obsessed. The beat is bigger than Piers Morgan's ego, the vocal's tighter than Topshop jeggings. Love the Truth Hurts style Indian intro also. Who produced this? We need to know right now. They've been working with Show N Prove*, Rak N Ruin and WOZ, so perhaps one of those. Either way, this tune is a monster.

We're not the only fans - Ed Sheeran and K Koke have also been tweeting about the track. Sooooo huuuuuuuge.

Follow the girls here.

*Update, it is the almighty Show N Prove.

Jay-Z x Obama x 99 Problems

... But a Mitt ain't one.

Argo: Feature

Being a fan of Ben Affleck and all, we're really looking forward to seeing this new movie, based on a true story, directed by the Bostonite.

Telling the incredible story of a CIA agent risking everything to extricate diplomats out of Tehran. So they pretended they were a Canadian film company making a movie about aliens. Brilliant.

And it's actual true!

D Double E Ft. Donae'O: Not Avin Dat

The Newham General charges back with another banger produced by the one and only Donae'O.

BAPE X Ferrari

Helping Ferrari launch their new Maserati showroom in Hong kong, Nigo and A Bathing Ape gave the 458 Italia GTE a little makeover. Featuring ubiquitous BAPE camo, Nigo himself was at the launch.

Those wanting to buy it will probably be disappointed. Doesn't look like this little number is for sale.

Blizzard: Love & Waviness

Taking to SBTV's A64 series, Manchester's Blizzard not only has great taste in wristwear, we think he's rather taleented too. The rapper, pianist, writer and producer is just 17 years-old, but is already working on a movie soundtrack and his own album, while Wiley borrowed his Soundboy Killer beat for a Dot Rotton diss.

Inspired by Brian Eno, Massive Attack and Phillip Glass, we think this teenager is going to be doing rather big things very soon.

Tulisa Ft. Wiley: Visa

The Female Boss teams up with the Godfather of Grime and even drops a sort of rhyme...! We don't get to hear Wiley's thoughts on visa's, as it's only a snippet. Guess we'll have to wait for the full track to drop...

Dynamo: RWD TV Interview

We love this Bradford magician a whole lot.

With a new book and a new DVD out, RWD caught up Dynamo to talk about the new series of Magician Impossible, making magic on the street, taking time out and his future stage ambitions.

Sincere Ft. Popcaan: Love We Bad

The number one dancehall star on everyone's lips right now is Popcaan. He joins up with our very own Mercury signed Sincere for a video that's as colourful as the single.

Jetta: Start A Riot

We thought we'd already posted this fantastic video, but after checking, we realised not. Doh!

Jetta is a singer from Liverpool who we think is going to be absolutely massive.

Love this track. Love the voice. Love the lyrics.

Can't wait to hear more.

The MOBOs [In Pictures]

We had a smashing time at this year's MOBO awards in Liverpool. Despite staying at the grimmest of all grim Travelodges (don't ask), we arrived in stye in a chauffeur driven car (again, don't ask), and immediately got stuck into the cocktails and champs.

After navigating the terrifying red carpet, we caught up with a "nervous" Wiley, a jubilant Skepta, a happy Trevor Nelson, a polite Conor Maynard, a buoyant JLS and a "tired" Naughty Boy (on the train back to be fair, and he looked a lot better than we felt).

The highlight of the night, as well as spotting Chilli and T-Boz from the legendary TLC, was sitting at the same table as the almighty Dionne Warwick. Normally, we're sat with Dionne from Warwick, but this year we managed to slide onto the amazing Natalie Duncan's table for a drink and surreptitious snap of Whitney's aunty.

Highlights of the night were definitely the Emeli Sande opening, the Stooshe closer, Trey Songz somewhere in the middle and Lab's little medley. Wiley later complained about his performance of No.1 Heatwave and this week's Top 3 Ayayayaya (or however you spell it), but we thought the Godfather of Grime did a grand job.

Heading to the afterparty with Natalie Duncan, Jay Norton and Jetta, our heels lasted only a couple of hours before we were forced to return to the glamourous confines/ carpark that was the Travelodge. Or did we... ?!You know they say - what happens in Liverpool, stays in Liverpool....!

The following pictures were what we managed before the battery on the iPhone 5 inevitably died...!

Thanks to Kanya King and the MOBO crew for a great night

Jaden Smith Ft. Justin Bieber: Love Me Like You Do

Will Smith's son joins up with another teenage overachiever on this unreleased track. Jaden rhymes over a bonus track from The Beibs last album.

Very Frank Ocean/ Drake in his approach, we gotta say, the kid got skillzzz.

OffTheWallTV: Crack And Shine

A series documenting some of the greats of grafitti around the world, the first kicks off with Barcelona.

JLS: Hold Me Down (Acoustic)

Our favourite foursome have recorded a rather lovely acoustic version of album track Hold Me Down, ahead of the relase of their album.

Evolution is out on (remember remember) the 5th of Novemeber.

American Horror Story: Trailer

Well, now this just looks weird.

For those that have FX, tune into this new series, starting tonight - perfectly time for Halloween tomorrow!

Starring, randomly, Adam Levine (?), Chloe Sevigny and Joseph Fiennes, the story involves a sexually repressed nun and a serial killer.

Which is nice.

Tune in at 10pm tonight - if you dare.

Rude Kid: One Week EP

East London producer Rude Kid is a generous boy.

The Alien Musik maestro, who has worked with Skepta, Jammer, P Money, Griminal and Little Dee,
has dropped this free EP. The seven tracks are named after the days of the week - see what he did! - and go from brilliantly grimy to eeriely sparse. The screeching dub of Saturday is our favourite.
