Last week, the brand bought the show to London, inviting Raekwon to perform on a bill that included  Oneman and Chris P Cuts. To commemorate the performance, ALIFE teamed with Foot Patrol and Gimme 5 to produce this limited edition tee as an ode to the almighty Rae's London session.

Kano Ft. JME: Flow Of The Year

Grime legends team up on new tune...

K-A and Mr. Serious join up on 'Flow Of The Year'. Produced by JME and featuring the big bars of Kano, the Grime Wave reincarnation continues, as Kane joins Lethal, Meridian Dan, Skepta and Dizzee to jump on a beat reminiscent of 2004.

Welcome home sweet home to 140 Grime St....!

Jacob Banks: Move With You (High Contrast Remix)

Banks gets a D&B makeover...

Any song that opens with the line "Call me Jay, cos you're my Beyonce..." is alright by us.

Birmingham's Banks gets a remix from High Contrast. Before dropping straight Drum&Bass in your face, High Contrast allows the song to build and breathe. And then unleashes plenty o'bass and another two massive drops throughout the track.

'Move With You' is out in September.

Labrinth: Let It Be

New single from multi-talented musician...

He's been quiet for a while, so it's great to have the brand new one from the almighty Labrinth.

'Let It Be' feels like it's stepped straight off the set of James Bond; this is big and bold people, big and bold.

"I don't know about tomorrow, but I know I got heart," sings the 'Pass Out', 'Earthquake' and 'Beneath Your Beautiful' producer. "I just might hit the bottom, but we all gotta take the lead to let it be."

Really looking forward to hearing more music from Lab's forthcoming second album, due later this year.

Boy Better Know: Jamaica

Skepta, Jammer, Frisco, Solo, Shorty, Lay Z and Maximum head to Kingston...

As defending champions of 2012's Red Bull Culture Clash, BBK aren't playing when it comes to taking on A$AP Mob, Rebel Sound (Chase & Status) and Stone Love at this year's Clash. The crew took (well, Red Bull took) themselves - and my good self - to Kingston recently to discover the true essence of clash and sound system culture.

Watch this trailer for the forthcoming film of BBK's time in JA to get an idea of what you can expect. The boys had an incredible experience, meeting Popcaan, Lady Saw, Ninjaman, U-Roy and King Jammy (among many others) as well as, of course, having a right old laff. Check the footage below to get a taster, and to appreciate how beautiful and brilliant Kingston is.

Red Bull Culture Clash takes place at Earls Court on October 30.

A$AP Rocky: SVDDXNLY (Part 3)

Third part in Noisey's Rocky docu...

In the third instalment of Noisey's in-depth documentary with A$AP Rocky, Young Flacko catches up with his old pals Jeremy Scott and Snoop Dogg and flirts outrageously, as ever, with Kathy Griffin.

Tinashe Ft. A$AP Rocky: Pretend

New single from LA R&B singer...

We're big fans of Tinashe - especially her awesome DJ Mustard produced single, 2 On.

The R&B singer will release her Future R&B flavoured album in October, but in the interim is giving us a taste of this A$AP Rocky aided single, 'Pretend'.

“Aquarius is my official album introduction to the world and represents a new season of music and art,” said Tinashe. “I cannot wait to finally share with the world what I have been working so hard on for the past few years. This is just the beginning.”

Tinashe plays XOYO in London tonight.

Eminem & Sia: Guts Over Fear

They've worked together before, on MMLP2's 'Beautiful Pain', and now Eminem and Sia have worked together on 'Guts Over Fear', taken from the soundtrack to Denzel Washington's new film, 'The Equalizer', based on the classic TV show.

The track, which is out now on iTunes, will also feature on a Shady compilation album, 'Shady XV', due in November, featuring some of the labels' Greatest Hits; from 50's In Da Club to tracks from D12, Yelawolf and Shady himself.

Bondax: All I See

Duo drops official debut single...

They've been squirrelled away in the studio for over a year now, working with names including MNEK and Becky Hill. But finally, Northern production duo Bondax are ready to drop new music.

Featuring Tanya Lacey, 'All I See' delivers some subtropical equator vibes, blending a bit of disco and a bit of dance to create a summery upbeat banger. If only the weather was a hot as this tune, eh.

Action Bronson: Easy Rider

Bam Bam heads to the desert in his new video...

Action 'Bronsolino' Bronson is known for creating epic videos that draw on Martial Arts, '70s Cop and Sport movies and, now, in his latest, the Queens rapper takes a trip out to the Wild, Wild West.

'Easy Rider' sees the rhymer climb aboard his Harley, roaming the desert until he finds the very thing he'd been searching for all along. What is that, you say? Well, you'll just have to watch and find out.

This is the first single from Bronson's new album, 'Mr. Wonderful', out next year.

Kid Cudi x Giuseppe Zanotti

Cudi lends his esoteric eye to luxury designer...

They're certainly not your average trainer; Giuseppe Zanotti has created a sneaker inspired by Kid Cudi's avant-garde, futuristic, time travelling style. After seeing him live in concert, the designer approached the rapper and the two began collaborating on a sneaker to suit the Kid's vybe.

Made from premium red nappa leather, which contrasts with the white midsole rather nicely, these inflatable trainers look like something out of a sci-fi film. No wonder really, seeing as Cudi does love a bit of intergalactic chat.

Due for S/S 2015, keep an eye for these to drop on Zanotti

Travi$ Scott: Days Before Rodeo [Album Stream]

Stream the ATL rapper's new album...

One of Hip Hop's more innovative creatives, Scott delivers a typically dark, weird, odd album in the form of the brilliantly titled Days Before Rodeo', the follow-up to 2013's 'Owl Pharaoh'.

The album features Big Sean, Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, as well as the 1975 who feature on Scott's cover of 'Don't Play'. Production comes courtesy of Scott, Vinylz and Metro Boomin.

This is not a mixtape, Scott has stressed, but a free album Stream/ download to your heart's content, below.

Action Bronson: Easy Rider [Trailer]

Bam Bam is back and he's on a bike...

It's not yet clear whether fully respect the greatness of Action Bronson. A rapper, a chef, a comedian, a crowd-diver, the Albanian American is genuinely something quite special.

Soon, Action will drop his new single and video for 'Easy Rider'. Here's a clip. Safe to say, we can expect it to be quite great.

Nike Blazer x Comme des Garcons High Premium

Collaboration created for Dover St store...

Following on from the Black Comme des Garcons x Nike Blazer Low Premiums last August, this year Comme and Nike give us the High Premiums.

Featuring all black everythang, get lost in the premium suede black upper, black outer sole, waxed cotton black laces, with the bold white “CDG” branding on the heel making its own statement.

The shoe will drop live and direct and very limited, at Dover Street Market later this month.

Ed Sheeran Ft. Rick Ross: Don't (Remix)

Rozay jumps on the remix...

You might think this an unusal pairing, but we hear rumours that Sheeran knows the Bawse pretty well.

Wonder if this means there are other collabs between the two on the way?

Lets hope.

MMG! Belaire Rose!

To be fair, we're entirely sure Ricky gets the concept of the track, but hey, what can you do?

Supreme A/W Collection

Another great collection from the New York brand...

Supreme A/W Headwear Collection

Nike Black Metallic-Gold Sliders

Shoes of the summer get a remix

If you haven't got a pair of sliders already then you might need to have a word with yourself.

It might not be the best weather we've ever seen right now but we're keeping the hope that things are going to warm up right nice, right soon. Probably.

Perfect timing then for these new Nike Women's Benassi JDI QS; basically white sole in contrast to mermaid style slide and gorgeous metallic gold Nike logo.

Availabel from tomorrow from Titolo

Rick Ross Ft. K.R.I.T, Ma$e, Fabolous: Supreme Remix

Remix from Mastermind features two of NYC's finest...

Interesting remix from Ricky Ross, as he gathers together the South and the East on a remix of 'Supreme'.

K.R.I.T and the Bawse rep the South, while Fab and Ma$e, who returns to the mic for the first time in a while, put it down for New York.

Love, love, love Big K.R.I.T

J.Cole: Be Free

Cole dedicates song to murdered teen...

After the dreadful murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, J.Cole has been moved to dedicate a song to the teenager.

Here's what Cole has to add:
"Rest in Peace to Michael Brown and to every young black man murdered in America, whether by the hands of white or black. I pray that one day the world will be filled with peace and rid of injustice. Only then will we all Be Free – Cole

BAPE x mita x Reebok

Trio collab on new Reebok Instapumps...

Sometimes it's a case of too many cooks be spoiling that broth. But in the case of this triumvirate, it seems to be, the more the merrier.

A Bathing Ape has teamed up with mita and Reebok's Instapump Fury OG silhouette on a classic camo shoe.

There's a black mesh base, brown and green midsole and heel and plenty of carefully placed logos - our fave is the heel based BAPE.

Available from mita and BAPE in Japan, you might snag a pair of these locally if you keep a very sharp eye out.

Jax Jones: Go Deep (TCTS Remix)

Songwriter and producer releases solo single

You know this man as the singer and writer from the steel drum banger that is Duke Dumont's last No.1 'Got U'.

Now making his debut, this upcoming producer and DJ, who is currently part of the Blase Boys Club residency at Sankeys Soap in Ibiza, Jax Jones releases 'Go Deep' on 21 September.

Absolutely love the original version, which is given a lovely little remix here from Manchester's TCTS.

Watch for big things from Mr. Jones. We predict a glorious future for this London born and bred talent.

Kwabs: Walk

New one from Britain's bestest baritone...

He's winning legions of fans from all over the shop thanks to his incredible vocal and right lovely hightop. If you've seen him live, you'll know just how spellbinding a performer he is too.

The 24- year-old Bermdonsey born baritone debuted his new single, 'Walk', on Mistajam last night, and had this to say about it.
“I’m really excited about 'Walk'. I wrote it late last year with Jonny Lattimer, about half-way through writing for the album. I guess it's about that age-old problem: 'I wanna stay but I've gotta leave...' I think people will get that. It's my statement of intent: the first time I'm saying, here I am. I wanted to look at the spirit of progression from a slightly different perspective, where you have to stop yourself rising to the drama of the moment," he explains.

This hugely soulful slice of aceness will be released on 29 September.

Shift K3Y: I Know

Producer, DJ and songwriter releases follow up to Touch...

Released on 22 September is this new one from London's Shift K3Y. The follow-up to his No.3 single, 'Touch', 'I Know' is immediately similarly captivating slice of melody driven dance perfect for the summertime. If it was, like, actually sunny that is.

Pre order 'I Know' here

Joey Bada$$: Big Dusty

First video from New Yorker's debut album....

It's taken some time, but finally it looks like Joey Bada$$'s debut album will drop this Autumn. Or, 'Fall' as they say in the great US of A.

Love the bit about 'numbers lie too', as a long believer that the infamous 'men lie, women lie, numbers don't' line just wasn't accurate at all, actually Mr. Jay Z. Numbers can be very much massaged, just as the truth, my friend.

Anyway, as you'd expect from the Pro Era-er, this is classic 90's boom bap throwback with intricate lyrics floating nicely over the top. The video is suitably mean and moody too.

'B4DA$$' is due in September/ October.

Kanye West: All Day [Leak]

Snippet of new song appears online...

Quite literally recorded off a naughty person's phone, you can even hear someone coughing, but, regardless, here's a clip of a possible new song from West.

The track sees Ye go off at people spending all day in the mall and basically reiteraging what a great guy he is.

No word on who the producer might be, but West is said to be working with a load of people on his new album, including Rick Rubin and RZA.

Sixty Minutes Live: Grime Goes Mad!

Jammer, Lethal, Dizzee, JME and Skepta takeover Mistajam...

It's just best to watch this.

Quite a moment and one that will enter the annals of Grime legend, we think. What a line-up....!

Spongebob x BAPE

BAPE team up with Square Pants...

A Bathing Ape has joined with SpongeBob SquarePants for a new line that includes sweaters, hoodies, cushions, tees and beanies.

The capsule collection is an update on the last collab between the two in 2008, with a wide range of colourways and motifs and a play on the Milo and Bob characters - including our favourite, SpongeBob's head as a hoodie.

To get your hands on these first you'll have to head to Tokyo and get to the Shibuya store for August 16. Otherwise hope there will be some left when they hit the UK and beyond later in the month.

Professor Green Ft. Tori Kelly: Lullaby [Video]

The Pro shares new video for Lullaby....

Teaming up with the US's Tori Kelly, Pro Green drops a heartfelt song about depression, suicide and growing up without his father. The video sees the pair in the desert, watching on as a young man loses his father to illness.

'Lullaby' is out 14th September 2014 and can be pre-ordered from here

Duke Dumont: Qaleeb [Free Download]

The Duke gives away a new tune plus check Shadow Child remix of Won't Look Back...

He's a generous soul is Duke Dumont.

The 'Got U' producer and DJ has decided to give away a song for absolutely free, zilch, nada, on his website, just cos.

Download the awesome 'Qaleeb' from Duke's site right here.

Before you do that though, check this brilliant remix of 'Won't Look Back' by Shadow Child, premiered on i-D yesterday. 6 minutes of deep house grooves and UK Garage flex. Delicious! We're pretty sure this might be Mr. Dumont's third No.1. Fingers crossed...!

Wiz Khalifa: Promises

New one from Wiz...

The Pittsburg rapper gets his romantic on (sort of) in this new single produced by Jim Jonsin. The opposite vybe to 'We Dem Boyz', Will gets all soft and soppy on 'Promises' as he gets 'lost in the moment'. Awwww.

Where's Amber, that's what we want to know!

Lethal Bizzle Ft. JME & Tempz: Rari Workout

It's all about the Italian sportscar apparently...

Forget leaning back in your German Whip, Lethal Bizzle has decided it's about Ferrari's and the gym. And stuff.

Lethal enlists Tempa T and JME to join him on their BMX/ freeweight flex as the trio do a right good workout.

Tinchy Stryder Ft. Meridian Dan, Narsite, Scrufizzer: ESG (Remix)

ESG gets a West, North and South remix

Tinch might be an East Side Geezer, but MC's from North, South and West are repping too.

Tottenham's Meridian Dan, Acton's Scru and the inimitable Brixtonion Big Narstie takes care of the South side, as the three explain what it means to be a right Geezer.

Check this ace remix below. Tinch's third album, 'Misunderstood' is out in September.

Monday, August 4, 2014

Meridian Dan: One Two Drinks

New one from Tottenham's Dan...

Produced by The HeavyTrackerz, 'One Two Drinks' is the follow up to Meridian Dan's huge grime crossover 'German Whip'.

On 'One Two', the North London MC politely asks people to just have a nice drink and a chill rather than having a couple and getting all sad or angry. You never know, people might even listen to him....!

Check the single below. 'One Two Drinks' is out on 19 September on PMR.

The Heatwave: Summer Tunes Mixtape

Bashment's biggest bangers all in one place...

Download this immediately... or else!

Y-3 Honja Black/White

Honja High drops in black and white...

Lets hope Autumn is still a good while away yet, but in preparation for the rainy season, Y-3 have unveiled the all-new black and white Jonja High Tops.

Love the lovely leather and debossed Y-3 branding on the tongue, as well as detailing on the heel and midsole.

Available from here, but probably not for very long.

Beyonce Ft. Nicki Minaj: Flawless [Remix]

Knowles and Onika go hard on Flawless remix...

"We escalate/ Up in this sh*t like elevators/ Course sometimes sh*t go down when there's a million dollars on an elevator...'

So, not only does Bee directly reference that Solange incident, she also possibly throws some shade Drake's way, on behalf of her hubby Hov no doubt. Or at least she says the words' pound cake', so we'll take that as some kind of shade.

Minaj meanwhile throws shade all over the place, though not seemingly to anyone in particular; just general side-eye as she boasts about how brill she is and how un-brill everyone else is.

Lil Silva Ft. BANKS: Don't You Love

Bedford producer joins with BANKS for new EP...

One of the finest producers working in the UK today is 24 year-old TJ Carter. Currently readying his new EP, 'Mabel', the Bedford beatmaker unveils this new collab with BANKS, the LA singer with whom he's been working with for over a year.

Featuring BANKS' sumptuous vocals and Silva's sub-bass exuberance, we can't wait for 'Mabel' to drop on Monday.
